Alexander Moseson

Dr. Alexander J. Moseson, PhD, is a global development engineer and entrepreneur. As Managing Director of Global Engineering Programs (GEP), he convenes and catalyzes the Top-10 College of Engineering and beyond for global impact. With experience on four continents, he co-leads the Innovation for International Development (I2D) Lab in putting engineering innovations to work for sustainable global development. Prior to joining Purdue, he was a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Washington, DC, and represented USAID on the White House (OSTP) inter-agency working group for Making. Moseson has BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Mechanical and Materials engineering from Drexel University, complementary experience in design and social science, and has started two companies.
