Ed Warner is a philanthropist, conservationist and author. His career in geology culminated in his discovery of Jonah/Pinedale - the third largest gas field in the U.S. “Running with Rhinos: Stories from a Radical Conservationist” was published earlier this year.
Ed has a B.S., M.S. and L.H.D. He lectures at universities, museums, other institutions around the world and has been published in five fields. The Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University bears his name.
Ed is a director of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Sand County Foundation, Explorers Foundation, Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and is a past trustee of several national geology society foundations.
